Sophie Grégoire-Trudeau Wears Canadian Jewellery Designer Dean Davidson During Visit to Washington

Toronto, ON For her first official visit to Washington, Sophie Grégoire-Trudeau made a splash with her all-Canadian style choices, including numerous jewellery pieces by popular Canadian jewellery designer Dean Davidson, current CAFA nominee for Accessory Designer of the Year.

Grégoire-Trudeau impressed the world’s fashion community by bringing Canadian fashion to the international stage, making a point of showcasing Canadian talent during her visit with her all-Canadian wardrobe from head-to-toe. Davidson’s jewellery pieces played a big part in her stylish ensembles, proving he’s become a favourite of the influential wife of the prime minister.

Davidson explained it’s an honour and a career highlight to see his designs on Grégoire-Trudeau. “Sophie has a very authentic elegance and she’s become hugely influential in terms of her style choices. I couldn’t be more thrilled to see her wearing pieces from my collection, not to mention being included in a group of many other talented Canadian designers,” he said.

Upon landing in Washington, Grégoire-Trudeau was seen in Davidson’s Moonstone geometric Origami Frame Earrings.

At the official arrival ceremony, she sparkled in Davidson’s moonstone and white topaz pave Sceptre Drop Earrings.

For White House state dinner, Grégoire-Trudeau made a style statement with Davidson’s Plaza Ring in Moonstone.
